Before your first session
Four steps, in this order.
None of this is busywork. Each step is here so your session can open on the real thing instead of spending half of it getting oriented.
Have this ready
Practical, not precious. Five minutes of setup is genuinely the difference between a good session and a great one.
Forty-five uninterrupted minutes
Not forty-five minutes with a meeting on either side. Leave yourself a little room afterward. It lands better that way.
Somewhere private
A place you can say true things out loud without lowering your voice. Your parked car absolutely counts.
One specific thing
Not everything. One decision, one pattern, one thing in the business you keep doing anyway. We can widen out later.
A connection that holds
We meet on Google Meet. Strong wifi, and headphones if you have them.
Water, and something to write with
You'll want the belief statements in your own handwriting. They read differently later.
A little room to move
Parts of the process involve simple physical postures. Standing space is plenty.
On the day
Join a few minutes early and let yourself land. We'll open where things actually are, not with a warm-up.
You stay awake, talking, and completely in charge. Nothing happens that you haven't agreed to.
Expect it to feel calmer and more ordinary than you've imagined. Undramatic is usually a good sign.
We'll finish with one concrete thing to do, so the change has somewhere to prove itself this week.
Good to know
Sessions are paid in full at booking. Reschedule up to twenty-four hours ahead, no charge and no explanation needed. Inside that window, sessions can't be moved and are non-refundable.
I don't record sessions. Take your own notes if you want them. I do share recaps and the plan forward after each session.
Nothing gets diagnosed or treated here. If something clinical surfaces, I'll say so and refer you well.
Bring your skepticism. It doesn't get in the way, and I'd much rather you stayed honest than agreeable.
